Looking In
Had a great talk with Ian today. I'm glad to have had another person to talk to about what happened with my brother. It's been a long time since we got to talk. Finally got the lowdown on all the cool stuff at comicon and we chatted about movies and writing as usual.
Called my bro up to check on him. He said he's doing fine. Was gonna stop by dad's and see him so hopefully he remembers to drop the present I had for dad off. I hope dad likes it. I still feel shitty I never got it sent off at Xmas. Yeah I suck.
Got all our laundry caught up today. YES!!! Course it'll be piled back up soon but at least there's not a huge ass pile in our room right now. That's a start. Also, all of Monkey's school clothes and supplies shopping is done. None left to deal with. Now it's just working on getting back to our old schedule which I fucking hate. I'm not a day person what can I say?
Aside from the laundry I did a little other tidying up here and there. I think tomorrow I have to force myself to scrub the shower and toilet. I've been wanting to take a long hot bath in spite of the warm weather but the tub is so hard to tell if it's clean enough because of it's damn off-white color. I swear everytime I scrub it and then take a bath I find it's scuzzy. If I can ever afford a house of my own design the bathroom will have large windows and skylights and a real tile shower.
I finished Kitty and the Midnight Hour last night. Honestly I thought it was boring as hell. Just as uninteresting as Kelley Armstrong's books. Gawd I hope no I never read people saying this kind of thing about my books. I need to update my damned book lists. Been hard keeping up with all this stuff going on in my RL. Course I haven't been reading as much and that's kinda good. I found myself barely able to read the pages last night. I hate not being able to see. I worry about eventually needing real glasses.
Oh hey act_scraven got a movie you may or may not wanna check out... The Departed. Has a great cast IMO and sounds like an interesting flick though I doubt I'd go to the theater for it. There's also Heroes... new show that looks pretty good. Another show with an international ensemble cast that deals with some iffy stuff. Doubt it'll be LOST good but might be worth checking out.
Well anyway haven't been feeling good as far as seizures go. Keep feeling like I might have a CP. *sigh* Think I'm gonna get off here for now and go do something before bed.
