That was rather amazing. It's like, the Bennets dealing with their problems in a "realistic" way, balanced by the little tragedies of memory loss and Claire not aging and all of that. And everyone thinks of Lyle as a dolt, but we see so little of him in canon in the first place. It would super cool if he turned out to be this observant but bastard-y screw-up just trying to deal with his family's outrageous situations.

Also, the meta is awesomely effective and spot-on but used in just the right amounts. Great fic!
