Howling like some fearsome animal on fire

I scream my fucking head off to the voices in my car stereo speakers in hopes of rising so far above them, that I'll shatter the sound barrier and you will hear me several hundred miles away.
Is this distance keeping 2 wild fires from meeting in the middle and destroying a city ?
