You'd figure having less than four hours of sleep, spending the day in less than comfortable clothes, and driving around in this hot weather would amount to a pretty lousy day, but today was actually pretty good.
Today, we finally went job hunting. My brother told me about a job fair that was supposed to be going on for the new mall that's opening in August, so we decided to go check it out. It turns out he got bad information, and there was nothing. Upon finding this out, Jason, Drew, and I went to a temp agency. I didn't fill anything out and decided to skip it due to a really rough time with one years ago...after hearing some of the things they talked to Jason about, I may reconsider. I did pick up applications from a few places, and have others in mind.
It felt really good to finally be doing something that could improve our lives. For some reason, it really gave me a big confidence boost that I've needed for a while now. It really feels like the events of today really set things in motion. For right now, I feel better than I have in a long time. I could wake up feeling like total shit tomorrow, but that's ok because I'm feeling better right now.
