The Cult owns you!!
oh my dear lord!! Last night was fucking awesome!!!
So Ruben and me went to see the Cult(for the 1st time) and it was the best show I have been to. Seriously I know Avenged are awesome at what they do, and AFI are also great......but the fucking Cult owns their asses by a long shot!
So it all started at 2:30pm, yes we left very damn early! We ended up being third in line, behind some "older" ladies. ahaha Doors opened at about 8pm, and the show started at about 9:30. We found ourselves some good spots right near the front(we didn't stand right up front because Ruben had to make a stop at the merch table!). We talked to some people around us, spotted the people we met in line outside. Everyone was just awesome. There was also this one guy who was with a group of his friends, and they were drinking and talking about how old they were, and he quickly turns to Ruben and asks how old he was. Ruben tells him he's 15. The guys like "no, you're not". "you're 21 right?".He looks at me and asks me if Ruben was joking. And I was like no he's really 15. And he couldn't believe it(the guy was 38 btw, but he looked more like 30). so then they start talking about the Cult and what not.
The show was about hour and half. Very very awesome. They some songs they haven't played in a while. I was fucking DANCING people(and headbanging, and jumping, and singing)!!!! ahahaha..........There were a couple of times when it got a little crazy. Right when the show started these two guys, who seemed drunk outta their minds, pushed and shoved their way up to where we were. And then they started pushing us(I don't know if they wanted to start a pit or if they just wanted to get to the front!)and some guys around us. Now this is a show where there are a lot of older folks, so it didn't go well with the rest of the people. Things got a little outta hand, and one of the guys was about fight with another guy we were standing next to. I almost got hit, Ruben was one of the rowdy guys target, and Ruben was ready to swing at this guy who's probably about my age or a little older!!! ahaha So the other dudes that we met before the show protected us! I felt so fucking loved dude! These big guys covering me and pushing those guys outta the crowd. Needless to say, security kicked the two white kids out! haha
When the show was over, Billy Duffy(guitarist) threw some picks towards us, but they got lost and scattered all over, and we din't get one. sux. But the show kicked ass and thats all that counts. oh, and our "friend" starts calling out for the kid like saying "where's the kid? where's the kid?" And asked ruben if he liked the show. Ruben screams out "This is the best show ever!!"

oh, I also found out that they recorded this show and we can actually buy it!
