Do what they tell you,
Do what they say,
that's how you make it,
it's the only way.

Do what they want,
just do what it takes,
sell out what's left,
whether real or fake.

The trouble with this isn't,
that we're lying through our teeth.
It isn't that we value things like,
faith or modesty,
The trouble with today,
is more than you, or them, or me,
cause honestly,
The trouble with today,
is we're not free.

Hey now for a moment,
Would someone stop and think?
or just re-consider,
why it is, we're following.
the new hero of the moment,
as if we all were sheep,
this can't be really,
really happening?

The trouble with this isn't,

Not picking sides,
would be nice;
I want the middle ground.
I don't agree with either choice,
