[From far away, or perhaps from behind, Fakir appears unharmed at first glance, but there's something...not quite right. It might be how quiet he is, or the fact that he doesn't seem to be trying to defeat every Geist in sight, but there is something sincerely off about Fakir today

[Candle in tow, Palette walks up to Fakir, dragging a broken leg behind her. Her body is covered in bruises and scrapes, but whatever killed her appears to be internal. Instead of eyes, two bright pink buttons are sewn into her eye sockets, though one of them hangs loosely from the rotting flesh.

Not that she seems to be very aware of her condition, because the first thing she does when she seems Fakir is gag in disgust.]

Mrs. Faker, have some decency! That is absolutely disgusting, what is that?!

I LOL'D SO HARD I WOKE MY SUITE UP OOPS.

[And Fakir turns and swipes at her, immediately, fiercer than he's ever been. He glares.]

You're even worse off than I am! [He's not gagging though, because that will just invite more of that geostigma crap up his throat. And ugh, he really hates slimy things. So much. Slimy things are more disgusting than anything else ew ew ew ugh. But Palette really is disgusting.] So shut up!

[And he goes to try and attack her again. While it's not too clear whether geists should be attacking each other, there's no sense in missing an opportunity to beat up Palette. Ever.]

[Palette jumps back from Fakir when he attacked, landing on her broken leg and flailing before falling in a pile of bones.] H-how rude!

[She dusts herself off as she gets back up (not that it makes any difference, her dress is already stained with blood and dirt and it's not going anywhere).] Don't you talk to me that way! At least I'm not puking everywhere!

[This time when Fakir lunges, Palette isn't going to stand by and let him push her around. Enraged, the demon princess makes good use of her candle and swings it at the boy, flame-first. Have fun with that, Fakir.]

[Fakir jumps back, but he's singed by the flames. He doesn't seem particularly phased by his new injury though, and lunges for her aga-

Wait, no, time out while Fakir coughs up a lung. He can feel it coming up and it is about a million times grosser than it was when it was killing him the first time, ew, oh god it looks like melted tar. Somehow, Fakir turns even whiter at having caught some of it in his hand.

Then he looks at Palette. And he glares at Palette.

And then, he pitches the goop in his hand at her face. ENJOY YOUR GEOSTIGMA MASK, PRINCESS.]

[And the princess was about to give her candle another swing when Fakir started hacking up slime again. Instead she reels back, because that stuff is gross ohgod.

Then he throws it at her face.

Palette screams.

And within seconds, she's at the other end of the hall--broken leg be damned--around the corner and out of sight, her horrified shrieks fading as she makes her retreat.]
