I got married last October. We've been ttc all summer. No luck yet, but there are circumstances behind all that. Ummmm, I think that's about it.
How's your Autism class going? This is my first year in three years of having not a single child with autism in my class. Last year I had three. I'm very sad about it actually, because I went to some trainings this summer, and I always have loved working with children with autism.
Congrats and marriage and good luck on TTC! I know it's a hard game to wait out, but it pays out in the end.
The students are really great. I only have one truly diagnosed with autism this year. My other 4 have "characteristics" of autism with primary exceptionality of moderate delay. They're a great group though and we're having a great year.
Annie! You've been missed sorely! I'm glad you are okay and didn't literally fall off the face of the earth. Little sad you didn't make it to Texas and hope you take care of yourself with the pending hurricane. okay, so not less than 50 words but I rarely write any real updates anymore so...Mia is 5, Layla is 2, K is almost 10, the hubby just graduated from Auto Tech school, and I'm surviving it all. Can't wait to hear more from you!!!!

Can't believe that the kiddos are getting that old. It's disgusting, really.

Sorry about your mom! I hope things get better for her.

50 words or less my ass:
--not working downtown any more, but for a new law firm in Baton Rouge (still as a paralegal, still enjoying the legal field);
--bought a place in south BR (2br/2ba condo w/balcony & cathedral ceilings), mostly because I was tired of paying rent;
--still working on reading, writing and feeling more, while thinking, over-analyzing, and worrying less.
The remainder you can/have gathered from facebook, probably. :)
