got to canberra and went straight to the casino ;[
after losing $325 on blackjack i was feeling pretty good obviously and proceeded to win $339 on texas hold 'em. mental note never play against the casino cos they always win. just play against other dudes ey.
nats went off okay; exhausting weekend as usual but other than that fine. the judges dinner was at a seafood buffet aha so i didn't bother going there but volunteered to "work" side events instead which was pretty funny as there were no events left running at that time so we just sat around having chats and stuff.
i forgot to take my razor down with me so i didn't get to shave for ages then when i went looking for a barber (the hair was no jokes too long to get through by then) i found out that there is none ANYWHERE IN CANBERRA :|
apart from the shaving shamozzle it was pretty excellent though, went to a pretty cool fake meat place tuesday night and saw OFF MINOR and This Night Creeps both the other nights so i got to break a bit ill. in wollongong there were some drunk punx there causing a ruckus lolz. some of the choicer quotes:
