What do you have against scientists? All a scientist is, is someone who tries to learn about the world through empirical evidence. With replication, if possible.

Like I said, I have plenty against scientists, but some more than others. It depends what 'empirical evidence' you're after and the lengths you'll go to get it. Some scientists will go to different lengths than others.

As a scientist, would you conduct experiments where your subjects had more value to your project the better they killed one another?

What manner of experiment is that!? I cannot think of any circumstances when that would be justifiable. Not even a massive war. What a waste! Even if all the subjects were informed volunteers, every person that dies is someone who could be fighting the other side.
