A realization...
What is in a name? You name is your humanity. In it is all that you, as a person, are. So, to call someone a name based on their name or an off-shot of their name can fall into the realm of dehumanizing them. I for one, no matter what the person does to themselves, whether they dehumanize themselves or what, can not allow myself to do it. I can not take part in the defacing of anyone, no matter what.
This is a realization that I have made that also carries weight with names that are curse words. They deface our very humanity just so we can lash out in malice at the person who hurt us. Why would any sentient being that knows this, want to continue to do so? Is it ignorance on their part or is it uncaring? What ever it may be, it does not need to happen ever. We need to realize this as a species so that we can truly call ourselves human beings.
