I thought I was getting out of anime and back into games but now I don't feel like playing any games and have been watching more anime. Yeah, I don't know. Apparently the game phase was really short-lived.

The anime club here changed it's format from last year and it's SO MUCH BETTER. Instead of showing 3 anime in hour long blocks they show one episode of 5 different anime (with breaks for announcements and food). The only way it could be any better is if we actually interacted with each other, like through games or events or something. I've said it before but I'm really pleased with what they're showing this year, it definitely helps that they can have a more varied schedule with the new format. I wish they didn't have to replace Higurashi, a creepy horror show, with Black Butler (aka Kuroshitsuji, the show I watched 4 episodes of over the summer and hated) due to Higurashi being too violent/bloody (wtf we're in college. Also, way to crush my hopes and dreams of Baccano! being shown in the club). It doesn't help that it's back-to-back with Vampire Knight (which, surprisingly, isn't completely horrible like I thought it would be) since they're very similar in style. (They're both gothic-stlye fantasy shows)

Yeah, there's not much going on here. Apparently Jimmy 100% completed my first Spyro game without me catching him playing it until he was Gnorc's treasure place. Now he's working on my Spyro 2. (I told him I'd kill 'im if he started doing 3 though, I've been working on that for too long to have someone else do it) He's also been playing my 007 game and watching my Yu Yu Hakusho DVDs when I'm not around. XD

We seem to have accumulated a ridiculous amount of junk food in the past week too. We have three different types of cookies (home made chocolate chip, oreos and keebler chocolate chip), chocolate cupcakes, Reese's peanut butter cups, two different kinds of chips and dips, teddy grams, and we still have a piniata full of candy too.

And to complete this entry of random thoughs: Courtnie, Jocey, when do you work on Saturdays?

collegeland, games, anime/manga
