I finished watching my Princess Tutu DVDs~ I find it amusing that the first time I watched this I didn't know anything about it and the ending didn't affect me, but the second time I started crying because I knew what was going to happen. I love the ending though. It doesn't compromise to give everyone a perfectly happy ending. (Think of what Disney did to the story of The Little Mermaid) I can't believe how much I like Rue now either. I always liked her but I think she may be my favorite character now.
I recognized a lot of the music too, even if I didn't know where most of it came from. (If it was from The Nutcracker, Swan Lake or Carmen I did :D) Actually I thought one piece was from Beauty and the Beast but I guess that was just inspired by this I like the Disney version better (and wanted to watch Beauty and the Beast every time the latter played in Tutu).
Yesterday I went to the park in the blistering heat with Courtnie and Chelsea. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then went back to my house and played Hey You Pikachu. I learned my microphone for the game still works and that sitting in uncomfortable shoes can also give you blisters. :'D Afterward I went back to Courtnie's house to play Final Fantasy X...but I forgot the memory card at my house. So we played Mario Party 2 instead. I really fail at Mario Party. When Jocey got off from work we went to the mall, then out to eat at Chili's for dinner with Arthur as well.
