First Week at College!

Sep 07, 2008 12:11

I've been bouncing back and forth between loving and hating college. Move in day was alright, there's really nothing to say about that besides that I met my three roommates: Dara, a fashion major from Indiana, Amanda, a fashion merchandise major from new jersey and Sara, a special education major from Nassau county. They all have their good and bad points. Dara is sooooo sweet that I can't say anything bad about her. Amanda looks, acts and talks just like Jackie from high school. Sarah is funny but she has a bunch of friends from high school here she hangs around with so I barely ever see her. :(

The second day was a bunch of crap. It was just a bunch of presentations about what to do and what not to do and where stuff is. Amanda made a friend, and she is the stupidest person I've ever met in my life. First of all, she talks like a valley girl. Second, she can't find countries like Ireland or Korea on a map among other acts of stupidity. Third, I went out with her and Amanda looking for our classes and we passes by one building, called Lowell-Thomas(LT) and she said "Oh, so that's LT" and then we passed by it again on the way back and she says "OMG THAT'S LT I FOUND IT LOOK THAT'S LT!". D: WTFFFFF

Tuesday classes started. All I had was Computer Science and a Lab. The instructor for the lab was a cute grad student who seemed really nervous. The Computer Science teacher said he gives multiple choice and true/false tests. So now I'm going to have to go visit Morturano and rub it in his face that he was wrong. Although he'll probably just say he's a bad teacher or something. I need to ask him if he still has my dinosaur test too. All my roomates went out partying that night, but I really want to avoid doing that so I stayed in the room and did homework and watched anime and stuff.

Wednesday sucked because it's the only day I have a class early in the morning. And the early class is in the building farthest away from my dorm. After my classes (Lit, Comp.Sci. Seminar and ...) I met more of the girls in my dorm(Laura and Elizabeth) and we went out and watched the band practice their halftime routine. Then we came back to the dorm and played a game called Apples to Apples, which is a funny card game that I'm definitely going to buy and we're definitely going to play.

Thursday was....more classes I can't remember. (I still haven't memorized my schedual, it's not like anything interesting happened in any of them anyway. Me, Laura, Elizabeth and three others named Victoria, Allison B. and Allison from another dorm went to look at the shops across the street.

Friday...all I can remember is more Apples to Apples with Elizabeth and Veronica.

Saturday Laura, Elizabeth and I went to the mall. Then we had a party that night but the girl the party was for couldn't come. :(

And now I'm sitting in the lounge using Elizabeth's computer to write this! :D

My classes so far are pretty easy, but that will more than likely change soon. I miss you guys a lot, but I'm glad I made friends here so I'm not all alone. ^^; There's an anime club tonight. I have my fingers crossed that it'll be better than the library's.

This takes too much time I'll just have to write stuff as it happens from now on.

I should change my icon...my Nia layout has been gone for like two weeks...
