My first attempt to find & make the perfect chocolate chip cookie ended, well... not perfectly.
The cookies were:
1. too greasy
2. too baking soda-y/powdery
3. a little too crunchy or a little too chewy (I blame my crap oven for this)
4. too flat
They're edible (the Heath chocolate chip moreso than the chocolate chip), but not what I wanted. I want fluffy, soft, perfect cookies, damn it.
Tricks to try, work out:
vanilla pudding
a dollop of sour cream
a better combination of brown sugar (or honey) & white sugar
a better powder/soda combination
butter, not margarine
a tablespoon or so of milk
