I thought I was at a complete loss: I'd been renting Twin Peaks from Netflix, and I'd "finished" by watching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. I didn't understand why the show was only 7 episodes long and so incomplete. I felt gypped. Then athanata was like, "It's two seasons, you doof." Found out season 2 and the pilot are not available on DVD yet (the pilot also explains the "Previously on..." at the beginning of what I thought was the first episode).
Dear Librarians,
Please find me theory essays on this series, as I would some educated ideas/opinions/etc. on it.
Sleep is not fun when I dream of evil X-men, dinosaurs attacking and graduate school application flops (finding out a teacher gave a less than stellar recommendation letter, perhaps). The dinosaurs... for the better part of a decade, I've had nightmares about them. Lately though, they've gotten worse. I wake up when I know they've won, and I wake up so terrified that I don't want to move out of my bed. When I was younger, I used to be able to outsmart them or out maneuver them; lately, they always win.
The instructions for halooverhorns's ascot are driving me insane. Half of them seem to contradict one another in some place or another. They're completely unclear. I should have just bid on that damned ebay one for him. It's okay though! I've got extra fabric, so if I completely botch the first one, the second one will be better!
Speaking of the Bandit-- I made this stupid agreement with him. I know what a smart kid he is, if he could actually get his ass in gear. He was so proud of making it through his first week of classes, I said to him, "How about this. For every two weeks of classes you go to and don't miss any, I'll play a game of D&D with you." I wish I could have recorded or photographed the expression on his face. If he makes it through this week-- well, I'll be naming my character "Carlos the Dwarf."
The Bandit & Meh-Lin-Deh! and I got Mexican food, and stopped by the Game Preserve for geocaching drop-offs.
Meh-lin-deh! our Geocaching Navigator begins the excursion.

It's over there somewhere...
