Wow long time no update
Wow I was just looking back on my last update and its been forever since I've written anything on here! (everything from the last update has been resolved).
Life's been good. I'm loving my career as a nurse, aside from the long hour and occasionally bitchy patients we get. I've squirrelled away enough money on the past few months to have enough to put a good down payment on a car (my first new one ever!!). I've been test driving cars and researching like crazy in the past few weeks. I've finally narrowed my choice down to either a Mazda 3 GT or a Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. For the longest time I thought for sure I liked the Mazda the best but the Lancer took my by surprise. They're both so nice that its hard to make a decision. I figure if I do a little more research on owner's experiences and take another test drive I might be able to make a decision.
I've discovered a downside to the net when it comes to research --> information overload. People post so much info and often choose the net to rant about crappy things that they have experienced since buying their car. It makes it hard to get an idea of the reliability and quality because of the extremes.
Oh well. In the end it comes down to which one I like driving best. But I totally welcome anyone's opinion if they own or know someone who owns one of these vehicles.
