OMG Enough with the rain.
Okay I live in Seattle. And ya it rains. But not nearly as much a lot of people think... But you wont know it by the past few weeks! OMG Stop already!
I actually have a high tolerance for rain. It keeps the plants and lawn green and happy. And Oh Boy are they happy! It's not so much the rain, as it is the temps. I mean it's memorial day weekend and my furnace is STILL kicking on in the mornings. ACK!
Where the hell is my "Throw the Windows Wide and Listen to the Birds" weather dammit!?
I have gardening I want to do! Yes! Me! Outside! Gardening! I know! Crazy Talk! OMGWTFBBQ
I'm determined to keep my lawn GREEN this year!* And as weed free as possible. It's a TINY lawn, this is not a hard goal.
But it's raining... and raining, and raining... I sit and look out at my scruffy yard. QQ
So I've been shopping for Spring Bulbs. Sitting at my window and visualizing what it will look like next year. (OMG naturalizing Snow Crocus in the lawn FTW).
This weekend I may try seeding the bare spots in the lawn (and holes left by the weeds I was able to get to when we had a couple days of sun*). And I may get some potting soil and do a little work inside.
Meh. Summer? What the hell happened to Spring?
