Birthdays
Kasey turns 5 today -- Victory turns 1 today.
Kasey is such a Big Boy now. He's doing very well in Preschool and will start Kindergarten this fall... EEK!!! He loves puzzles, practicing writing and coloring and 'hunting' for bugs in the front yard.
Victory is a bright beautiful baby. It's interesting to watch her develop in her own way. KC was crawling at Christmas, but Victory still isn't crawling, instead she gets around by a combination of rocking on her bottom and rolling on the floor.
Sometimes it'll look like she's going to crawl and ends up scooting backward. She can get to a sitting position from laying on the floor, and recently she's started to try to pull herself up on things. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't ever crawl and just goes to toddling. It will be fun to find out.
Today we're keeping it low key. I baked a cake last night. They're getting cake and some small gifts today.
Tomorrow, KC doesn't know it but he'll be having cupcakes with the classmates at Preschool (he does half days Mon - Wed - Fri)
Friday is our weekly game night. I've ordered a cupcake cake to share. Kasey will get his 'big' gift then (Lego Batman video game).
