What's New Pussycat
I often get asked "what have you been up to", to which I don't have much of an answer. Just well, the same ol, same ol.
I take care of Kasey. And while he is THE MOST wonderful baby in the whole wide world. He doesn't do much at this age that I can use to fill space in a conversation. We're past the 'is he sleeping through the night?' and not quite to 'is he walking yet?'.
Beyond taking care of Kasey, I take care of Scott as much as I can. He's doing much better these days, but he still occasionally has his (stress overload) moments. And as far as that goes, Scott thinks that I am THE MOST wonderful wife in the whole wide world... and who am I to argue with that?
Looks like we won't be going to Hawaii in May *sigh*. It just doesn't work taking a week off smack in the middle of Scott's contract. So at this point, we may go in July. I'm a little bummed by the delay, we won't be going with the in-laws like we planned so all that extra baby help I was promised goes right out the window. *double sigh* Oh well. Poor me, I get to go to Hawaii. Boo Freaking Hoo. Sucks to be me. ;-)
I'm working out at Jazzercise pretty regular. I did miss a couple of weeks when the boys were so sick, but otherwise I go 4 days a week. Hooray for on-site childcare.
I go to Chorus every week, we're gearing up for Regionals next month (in Spokane). We're the "host chorus" this year. We won Regionals last year, so we 'host' this year and go to Internationals in October (Las Vegas Baby!). I won't be going to regionals, there are a lot of reasons why, but Scott starting a new job and not having anyone to watch Kasey on the weekdays (Thurs and Fri) tops the list.
... but really, I'm not going because I'm going to NorWesCon, which is the weekend prior. w00t
So in my copious amounts of free time I'm trying to get stuff up on my etsy site. I've recently added some hand-bound journals, and ART PRINTS. I'm hoping to get some more stamps up there in the next couple of weeks.
Anyway, same ol, same ol. These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along.
