Randomness

I always have stuff to talk about, right up to the point I get sat down at my PC. Meh

Proceeding with stream of consciousness, brain dump...

Kasey is doing wonderfully. So far only his two bottom teeth have come in. They're so beautiful and white, it makes my heart hurt (in a good way). I thank God for them every day.

He's crawling around like a champ right now. Still doing the Army-man crawl, but can cover a lot of ground very quickly. We've got a gate installed at the top of the stairs, and a couple of other baby gates to use to corral him in different ways around the house. Last night while crawling around I think he's starting to get feel of the layout of the house. I just love following him as he crawls around discovering his world.

Cats are reacting differently to Kasey. Precious, is supremely jealous, and constantly tries to assert her dominance over Kasey. She does this by putting herself between us and him, or by parking herself near him or in his path. This doesn't work so well, as he loves the cats and just ends up getting excited and squeals and grabs at her fur and tail.

Mirage (aka Pretty Lady) on the other hand, doesn't want anything to do with him. She's taken to staying in the master bedroom or my studio when he's up. She's gotten pretty good at telling when he's down for a nap (or for the night) and she comes out to eat and be social when he's down. I think she's losing weight because of this, but that's ok. She's a very, very overweight cat, and up 'till now, I've failed at getting her to lose weight. I am however keeping an eye on her to make sure she doesn't loose too much weight too fast.

It's a shame Pretty Lady is so avoidant of Kasey, he gets really excited when he sees her. Probably because he doesn't see her as much. As soon as he sees her, he squeals with excitement... and she scoots out of the room as fast as her pudgy little feet will carry her.

Hmmm... lets see. What else...

Working on a Super Sekrit project to make money from home. So far so good. Not making money like a regular job, but it's a few bucks in my pocket. And I don't hate it (so far).

*ponders*

Scott said a sweetest thing to me the other day. I wrote it down... *rummages for the paper*..."I was just thinking of you, because I was counting my blessings."

Oh, I almost forgot. Hell has frozen over... yup. My brother is actually coming to Thanksgiving this year.*

... hmmm ... feel like there's more. But I'm getting sleepy and my eyelids are getting heavy.

* (note to self) He just broke up with his girlfriend.

shane, work at home, kasey, scott
