Pretty good day today.
Kasey had a very Happy Day today. Smiling, giggling and squealing.
Did a little a lot of Flylady work on my Control Journal. It's interesting how Hurricane Katerina and Rita can motivate me to get something like this in order.
Sent in a request for info for an on-line course in Home Inspection. I don't really want to be a house inspector, but Scott and I are looking into getting some investment properties. And having the home inspection training I think will go a long way when I comes time to shop properties (Scott plans to get a real estate license). If/when this all happens, I'd take on the primary role of Property Manager... I wonder if there's any training in that anywhere? Good news is, we're not going into this completely blind. Scott has friends with duplexes and fourplexes, and he has a couple of relatives (Uncle and Cousin) who are experienced too. Anyhow, we'll see where that goes.
I've been playing on-line poker. Trying to improve my game. It gets my "gaming fix" in pretty well, and is so much easier to hop on and off line around baby naps. Plus it's free.
Been working out as I can. Primarily DDR. I'm having dreams of getting some windfall (wouldn't that be nice) and splurging on a playstation so I can play even more versions of DDR. Speaking of versions. I've been playing Ultramix 2 (on Xbox) because it had a "beginner mode" (version 1 didn't). Well, I've been doing "light mode" (that's a step above beginner) for a bit and realized I can go back to V1 and start doing songs that were too hard before. Yay, more DDR and I didn't spend a cent. (Still have visions of a playstation dancing in my head tho)
Scott's company is having a party over at Gameworks next Thursday. Celebrating selling a million copies of Guild Wars (how cool is that). And I get to go too. Just need to line up a baby sitter. =)
Went over to a friends tonight for game night. Played our current favorite games: Munchkin (star and bites) and Apples to Apples. Pretty low key night. But enjoyable.
