Good Weekend
I played hookie last Friday...
Went out and made a baby registry, and then then on a mini shopping spree. All the things that makes ~ Mischief ~ happy were acquired: Chocolate, clothes, candles and paint. Yup. Happy happy. Got home with a good sized headache, and many shopping bags.
Rested up, then went to a friends house for the evening fun and socializing... ended up snoozing on the couch.
Saturday, started with twilight2000 coming over to use my machine and spiffy DSL line to play an online beta. Meanwhile, I was in the next room listening to her vocalize during play while I primed and painted the white stripe in the nursery. 3 coats of primer, and 2 coats of paint later and it looks great! Now it's on to the really fun stuff, the muraling! w00t!
Evening ended with Scott downstairs gaming with the guys, and me upstairs gaming on-line. Much geeking was had by all.
Sunday, I spent a lot of time making the family Christmas cards. Not the design I had originally in mind, but but I think it worked out pretty well. I also made a dozen similar cards and delivered them to my friends giftshop for consignment.
Weekend ended with Scott and I both taking turns struggling with the "EVIL Light-string of DOOM". In the end we were victorious, and we now have a well lit (if yet undecorated) Christmas tree!
Finally, I promised shywickedpixie some holiday decoration photos and had to improvise buy sending her this.
