Other things in the world of Mischief
Teeth thing* is coming along nicely. I had my implants inspected a little while ago and they're happy with how they're healing. They want to see me again in 6 months. Yesterday I got my lower crowns! Woo they're so purty. Hehe, it's a shame you don't really see my lower teeth when I smile. But oh well. They're also strong and healthy. I'll get my upper crowns next week. Ohhh and they're gonna be all white and strong and pretty! Getting ready for the trip to Hawaii. I'm trying real hard not to feel bad about locking the kittys up indoors for 10 days. twilight2000 will be checking in on them for me and doing the littler box thing. What's worse, I'm going to be boarding one of my cats at the Vets office. He needs daily medication and in one aspect, I'll feel better that he's right there at the vet if something goes wrong. However, after I saw the kennels they keep the cats in I cried. It's so small. It wouldn't be so bad I think if it were just a few days. But 10 days in that little cage, tears my heart. I just keep coming back to the fact that if anything happens to him, he's at the Vets.
Scott's working hard on a movie project. It's an independent movie, and they can be flakey and fall apart at any time. Because of that Scott plays down his involvement and excitement until it's all done, finished, edited and shipped. I try to respect that, but at the same time it's hard for me not to talk about it. It's pretty darn cool. Anyway, he's working hard on the project and so far it's coming along really nicely. I'm so very happy for him.
I'm SO looking forward to getting out of this job. I find myself at random times bursting in to a song and dance routine.... "My girl wants to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time!!!" It amuses me.
Also looking forward to coming back from Hawaii and getting to enjoy this Seattle summer weather whilst I'm unemployed.**
And speaking of clumsy transitions... I've started playing City of Heroes. After hearing about it from on-line friends (twistedbunny) and seeing a couple of my favorite online comics cover it, I knew I had to put it on my "Job Research" list. It's pretty darn cool. Hell, half the fun is in the character generator (although having to do the tutorial every time starts to blow). I'm having a good time and I'm mostly soloing right now. I'm hoping to get more social soon and meet other Heroes.
