woooooooooooooo
this week has been REALLY long.. i think its because i had two four-day weeks in a row and today feels like it should be friday but i till have to go in to work tomorrow.. poop
i went on a field trip today which was fun, we went to an old house in Beacon Hill that was built in 1796 - its was amazingly beautiful and i learned a lot abou it... i finally got something out of a museum field trip... and i feel bad that the kids didnt get diddly-squat out of it.. but i remember being that kid too... so its ok, i suppose. we made cool plaster-of-paris molds (to learn about the intricate molding in the house and how it was made) and mine is a really pretty flower! YAY!! lol
i had a meeting at the office tonight to work out the last little details of our olympics tomorrow... oh man.. its gonna be nuts! jut to give you an idea of whats going down picture this:
the third floor of our office is kind of two loops but there are a lot of walls and desks and things in the way which kind of make it a maze, it took me a good 3 weeks to understand that floor - its really busy. people walk into walls all the time just cuz there are so many of them and they are really randomly placed.. so we're having a rolling chair race around the loops... i mapped it out and then i tried it... i think i ran into every wall... its really hard.. and my legs hurt.. and i can picture a select few corps members who are INSANE to begin with just losing it on this course.. HAHAHAHA its going to be awesome! yup yup! the only down side is that i wont be there for all these games becasue i leave from work early tomorrow to go skiing in Vermont. that should (hopefully) be fun too. but its supposed to be raining and 50 degrees so maybe we wont do much skiing. i dont anticipate being too bummed if i cant ski, seeing as how that not a normal part of my winter ANYWAY.. im not missing out on some tradition or anything, so thats good... speaking of which.. i need to go water skiing... anyone up for a trip to mcqueeny or lbj or canyon??? anone got a boat and skiis??? i dont think my parents kept my skiis... again, poop.

she picked a really good week tto come too because she will be shadowing me at work that friday and that is the ONE week out of the WHOLE YEAR when my team is leading pt (physica training... or our morning calasthenics) AND we are leading the corps in a signature service day!!! i'm really pumped that she gets to see me leading the corps and hard at work. i feel like she KNOWS i work hard but its all speculation cuz she's never SEEN it... so now she will SEE it and see how much this 5 foot bolt of lightning can do... i feel like i need to show her that i can do everything... but i dont know why - cuz i think she knows it :-P oh well...
hmmmmm i got hamantaschen today from USY so, thanks becca and everyone else who made them... i havent tried them yet (i was just so excited to GET them!!!) but i hope there are some chcolate chip ones!! hehehe and i want to know if there was a flour fight this year... this will be the first year in four that there hasnt been, but it would be understandable since the causes of those fights (me, jen, and max) werent there this year... the three of us will have to get together later and have a random flour fight to make up for it.. cuz i miss that!!! yay!! ok, well CSI is on and so i'm going to go!
