Amanda drove me home today. I came home smelling like marijuana and cigarettes, and I felt really happy to be in there with her and this other guy named Logan. It was a very "Perks of Being a Wallflower" moment. After school I took the lightrail (and I bought a ticket for the first time in quite a while) to my grandmother's house, and to my surprise, I found my aunt making dinner! She is quite the cook. I helped her set up table, and they had another guest along with me.
His name is Audriguez, and he seemed really uneasy... and he also mumbled a lot. Considering that he is my aunt's boyfriend, and my aunt's boyfriend was very sick, along with being addicted to drugs, it is no surprise. I also have a shitload of homework to do this weekend, and I can't do anything because my parents want me to "bond" with my father (which would be working with him 8 hours a day on the weekends, and getting a very low pay out of it).
I had originally planned to visit Hannah Homer in Santa Cruz, but I couldn't in the first place with the Santa Cruz Metro's employees being on strike. I was really looking forward to that, but I'm sort of glad that I have something to blame my inability to go there on something else than my parents for once. Also, Raquel told me today that I am "more like an adult" than a teenager. This surprises me, because I've always thought I act more like a child than a teenager.
