Spice Peranakan
I just got home from eating at "Spice Peranakan" which is in the basement of Bukit Timah Shopping Center. The food was superb! I was so very happy so I wanted to let everyone know of this little restaurant. I'm not a good food reviewer so I googled for the restaurant and someone had already blogged it here and and another review by hungrygowhere.
We ordered the Ayam Penyet (really super yummy) and the Ikan Asam Pedas (loved the gravy), the Sambal Kang Kong (this was ok only) and also the Bubur Cha Cha (comes warm). The lemongrass drink was very refreshing and addictive as well.
So go try this restaurant out. The prices are also pretty reasonable! Apparently on Saturdays for lunch, they also have Nonya Laksa.
