Confidence Interval

Writing in this is probably more beneficial than writing on the wall, but I believe I need a certain software to use symbols of equations...

Ah, I still need much more work on my eighth deck.

Let's see. Ichiban has won 15/16 and lost 1/16.

p-hat +/- z* times the square root of p-hat times q-hat divided by n

I want a 99.9% confidence interval. So z* is 3.291.

Assumptions; np > 10 (16x15/16 = 15)check, nq > 10 (16x1/16 = 1) not met

Plugging in numbers...

.9375 +/- 3.291 times the square root of .9375 times .0625 divides by 16. The interval is <.7383, 1.1367>

This isn't accurate at all because the assumption nq > 10 was not met.
