Omg I need this dress in my life! I love how the houndstooth pattern gradually morphs into the birds. Its so beautiful and a great detail. I thought houndstooth had an overused run last season but apparently not! The amazing details and tailoring that went into these outfits just makes me wish I was a millionaires so I could buy them all!
I can totally see Gwen Stefani wearing these previous two outfits! *want want want*!!!

I know yume_ninja loves McQ so I was curious to see his collection posted on Jezebel, I clicked and was simultaneously awed and horrified and amazed. And then I stayed to read the comments and this just made me wanna go headdesk!
My first reaction was not to look at the couture, but to think "Jesus, someone who makes their models' faces and heads look like that for a show has some anger issues towards ze wimmins."
I just had a very emotional reaction to this show. i watched the video on another website, and.. wow. Fetish is definitely an element, and this could be viewed as offensive. But for me, the overt exaggeration makes it more satire. It isn't empowering, but it is a form of lashing out.
that's how i saw it. and that's why it made me cry.
Omg why can't we just look at CLOTHES for clothes sake and stop analyzing how everything affects women and cry about it. Of all the bullshit that affects women, one man's fashion show is the least of our problems! Go cry moar D: If you're gonna cry over some makeup in a fashion show how do you deal with real issues like sex trafficking and modern day slavery? Ugh D:
