Christmas blues
I'm seriously debating to just stop being nice. It takes too much effort on my part and then I have to deal with the disappointment of being slapped in the face (figuratively of course) when the person turns out to be a jerk...
In the spirit of Christmas, I give small gifts to my coworkers. It became a ritual shortly after Reg complained that I kill the 'Christmas spirit' by not giving to others. >.> Anyway, back to why I want to stop being 'nice'. I gifted everyone at the store with a gift certificate from the mall and some holiday chocolates. Almost everyone was thankful. This one girl seemed happy initially but not even a few moments after she closed the gift box, her tone changed. 'Nice way to suck up to me, Ana. If you weren't my favorite person to work with before, you definitely are now.'
WTFOMGSPICYHOTBBQSAUCE!!!! Really? I go out of my way to get you a gift and that's what you have to say to me? Before any of you may think that she was joking around, let me tell you, SHE WAS DEAD SERIOUS. The only thing holding me back from punching her in the face and smearing it in hot holiday chocolate was the painful bout of Endo pain caused as a result of her retardedness. >:(
