FFN Updates!
Finally had time to do some story updating. :XD:
Mother Knows Best Chapter Six is now live! Please read and review when you get a moment. The fanbase for this story grows each time I post a new chapter. Wowzers! I can't thank the followers/fans enough! :')
I recently participated in a story relay project being held at Time-after-TimeXxx. Click here to read my entry. The concept is for multiple authors and illustrators to participate in creating a story. Authors write a short story together, with each person continuing on from where the previous author stops.
My greatest challenge so far has been keeping the characters 'in character'. I wanted to show some interaction between the couple and I fear I may have changed their personalities slightly. (T_T)
I couldn't resist putting Kagura into the mix. :XD: Hold on to your panties: she isn't a baddie! It is an a/u fic people so you can use any character you like (including dead ones) from the series and create their personality however you see fit. I don't ship her romantically with Sesshomaru but, heck, I can definitely see them being very good friends.
And - Sesshomaru isn't a player in my opinion so I couldn't just write him sleeping with different women regularly with no rhyme or reason! Again, since this was MY CHAPTER I twisted his intentions and actions to those of my choosing. :devilish: I like the way the chapter turned out.
A friend, however, pointed that I should have explained (even if just briefly) the nature of Rin's school assignment. I don't think it's too late to throw something in there now as it won't significantly change the flow of my chapter but I've done enough writing for now and it'll be a while before I come back to this contest.
All in all - I had tons of fun! Depending on how long the story is, I may put my name in for an upcoming chapter! :XD:
Lastly - the 'Tell Me A Story' contest at my SessxRin group has come to an end and voting has officially begun. If you're reading this journal, could you please visit my group, have a read through the entries and cast your vote? Thank ya!!!
