And OMG MISE. WHY AREN'T YOU ONLINE SO I CAN SPAZZ ABOUT DESIGN.
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS? They got a bunch of architects working in Asian to put together a exhibition with pieces only created out of white lego blocks. THE RESULTS ARE GEEHHHH ♥♥♥
And oh oh, DO YOU KNOW THE 11 MARCH MEMORIAL BY STUDIO FAM IN MADRID? THE ONE THAT WON THE BALTHASAR NEUMANN PRIZE 2008? It's just... amazing. I love it to bits!

Style tte. ^^ God, I had an assignment 2 semesters ago where we had to create a composition out of nothing but the letters "deconstructivism" in Helvetica. And the prof kept telling us, "that's too control, more complexity!" Guh. D<
The interior of the Aquatics Centre look so amazing. *_* I think I'd just be staring at the ceiling the whole time, rather than the events. LOL.
...It feels as if they want to show off a bit. Hiring renown European architects to design showy European designs. Instead of designing to the environment, design something that catches attention from miles away.
*_* I'm a huge sucker for minimalism, you know? (grr, go away deconstructivists D<)
You're so mature, Mise. LOL. His name is like Kongo but with an e, pfft. Haha.
When you said Guggenheim I was thinking of the Guggenheim museum in Berlin and I was like ??? But then I googled and found out that there are also one in New York, Venice and Bilbao. OTZ Haha
The closest one is the New York one. One of my profs was saying how he totally couldn't stand being inside of the NY one because of the way the museum was designed, you view the art by walking around a spiral ramp and all the art is hung slightly slanted to compensate and he gets so oc about it, haha.
But the one I really want to go see is Bilbao. *_*
IN RESPONSE TO THE BRICK BY BRICK EXHIBITION: You should read this article. They've got bigger pictures. I don't understand why awesome things like these don't go on to release a book. D:
I'VE GOT A WHOLE FOLDER BOOKMARKED JUST FOR JAPANESE DESIGN. I need to make a post about all my design books. *_* TALK TO ME SOON.
NENDO ♥. Do you know about dentsu? They're one the largest advertising firms in the world. They've got chapters in every major country. It's too bad that they're so big they don't even need to show examples of their work on the Japanese website. D: But you can see some of their stuff in other chapters' sites around the world. And their mascot is a blob of wasabi. >D
OMG MISE. DO YOU KNOW WHO'S DESIGNING THE 24 JIKAN TEREBI T-SHIRT THIS YEAR?? MURAKAMI TAKASHI! /spaz I have a huge artbook of his work with large fold out spreads. T_T
He is so brilliant. My heart. T_T
