Sometimes it really, really sucks to study in Singapore.
I mean, Jamie Lynn Spears has just gotten her high school diploma. And is now preparing for a college entrance exam. A girl who's a year younger than all of us, filmed a TV show for Nickelodeon, and oh - had time to get knocked up.
And here we are, still three-quarters of a year away from graduating from 'high school', on a long, winding academic road that never seems to end (or at least culminates in extremely high levels of stress and exhaustion). If you want to study in other college institutions besides the universities in Singapore, you're always given less priority than the local applicants (not to mention the international quotas) AND you have to do better in both academic and extracurricular aspects.
Okay, maybe I'm feeling crabby because I was really sleepy while attempting to study today and didn't get a lot done.
I just got an Apple iPod classic (believe me, I am so sad I had to defect to Apple but 30 GB just wouldn't suffice any longer) thanks to eBay, and the size and contents of the box elude me. Does anyone know why the iPod classic doesn't come with a charger? Or are all iPods packaged like this? I know Apple likes the minimalist approach, but this is just too much...
Rated G/PG/NC16/M18/R21, depending on how you look at the subject matter
Juno... AMAZING, and the cinematography was so beautiful (the muted colours, the contrast of the seasons etc. were lovely). Ellen Page is going to make it big now. Or you know, keep doing more indie stuff.
And the iPod classic's battery life is absolutely horrendous >:( Take my word for it, the Creative Zen's battery life wins by a long shot.
