definitely can't remember the last time i updated this thing. im sure lots has happened since then. let's see went to a show at Bloodstains that was quite fun. saw Terminal Youth which made me happy. though i was quite trashed and some events of the evening kinda blur together. it sucks that they're not having shows there anymore. it was a good basement. why do venues get shut down so often? erggggg. had to spend some of the time taking care of someone i went with who got too fucked up. but hey it happens. had vacation that week. went to mexico. had a fucking awesome time. i definitely miss the like 85 degree weather. i'm cold, and winter should be over. but sadly it's not. hmm what did i do in mexico.. well a brief summary, lots of lying on the beach, swimming (including with dolphins), getting tan/sun burnt, all inclusive hotel meaning lots of good free food, got drunk and very high on mexican weed a couple nights, hotel party in me and anna's room one of those nights, another hotel out in like the wildernessish that was very nice, some mexican music, tequila, shopping, driving speed boats, parasailing, snorkeling, jacuzzi in our second hotel room, relaxing. yup there's a brief summary. good times. only problem was delayed flights on the way there and back. pfft. damn snow.

got back tuesday night meaning only 3 days of school which was extremely nice. somehow it went by wicked slow anyways. tonight hung out with kristen down at harvard. it was sad the pit was dead and we couldn't find a buyer the whole night. which has never happened to us before. kind of a night of failure..one of those nights where nothing you try works out, trains are delayed, etc. it happens. we settled for some robitussin. yeah DXM. still feeling it now. very out of it and happily so. everything's like not in focus. hmm....whoa yeah, definitely feeling it. anywho, show tomorrow. BEHIND ENEMY LINES and the profits and more. i cannot describe how stoked i am to see behind enemy lines. i hope people we know go, seems like we haven't been seeing people as much at shows lately. ah well. better have luck finding a buyer tomorrow or me and kristen will be angered. i prefer not to take shows sober if i don't have to.

effie moved to vermont :( so i haven't seen her in a while which kinda sucks. we had good times hanging out. she's coming down to boston in a couple weeks so i'll get to see her. definitely will have to go visit her out in vermont sometime too.

i read a very good book called Ishmael for school. it was all about the difference between how our "civilized" culture the so called "primitive" culture of people who still live in tribes and hunter gatherers etc. it shows how our cultures destroying the earth because of man's desire to conquer and control the world and how the "primitive" people aren't actually backwards like we think but know how to live so that they won't cause extinction of the human race. there's much more to it but considering i just felt like i was moving and i'm sitting perfectly still, i don't think i can explain it any better. definitely quite thought provoking. started reading Stranger in a Strangle Land on the flight back from mexico. good book so far.

i'm getting a leather jacket as soon as i bother to order it online. i'm excited. i have an immense desire to paint and stud it and make it look all pretty. i wish i had more to say because i don't have anything to do right now and don't want to sleep yet. it should just magically be tomorrow all of a sudden. doesn't look like that's gonna happen.
