With the caveat that this is entirely based on extremely subjective stuff:
There is a definite difference between being In The Moment, and the timeless hyperfocus of ADD. Thinking about it, it seems that they are in fact complete opposites. While hyperfocus is a good thing sometimes, a useful thing, it's also a trap that eats up huge chunks of time, not always productively. It's more Getting Lost in A Moment. It narrows awareness and tunes out the subconscious (the part that goes "you're hungry" or "maybe it's time to deal with -this- now"). But being In The Moment is more expansive. Awareness of what's going on around you. Soooo, more external vs internal?
