January 2008 ~ Stripes With Plaids
This is probably the most mainstream (and literal) mix I've ever come up with, but I like it, so there. Downloads via sendspace.

2. A song about the news - The News ~ Jack Johnson
(being literal FTW!)
3. A song that starts with a number - 9mm and a Three Piece Suit ~ Streetlight Manifesto
4. A sharp song - Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks ~ Panic! at the Disco
5. A song about stars - Trouble Breathing ~ Alkaline Trio
(I KNOW, an alkaline trio song! shocking!)
6. An enduring song - Tales of Brave Ulysses ~ Cream
7. A song that isn't as nice as it sounds - We'll Be Ok ~ Bayside
(Hope we both learned our lesson
We'll be ok
We both got what we wanted
I got sex, you got fame
Who used who now
that you've got all new friends
But they don't know your name.)
8. A song about watching - Again I Go Unnoticed ~ Dashboard Confessional
9. A song that compares - Liar (It Takes One To Know One) ~ Taking Back Sunday
10. A disdainful song - Rock and Roll Lifestyle ~ Cake
11. A claustrophobic song - Crushing Me ~ Stabbing Westward
12. A song about a city - Cincinnati ~ The Distillers
(Hi! Remember me? Like this is a surprise to anyone.)
13. A song about the sky - Reach for the Sky ~ Social Distortion (Which I seem to only have on cd. Somewhere in my basement. In some box. Have a youtube link instead.)(PS Mike Ness can be my boyfriend now?)
(This was by far the hardest song to chose. I just - where are all the sky songs, bands? It is a sky! It is huge! It is metaphorical! It rhymes with A LOT OF WORDS! I! Thigh! My! Sigh! By The By! WTF, musicians? Get on this, okay?)
