For further clarification, if you make a post at the end of this entry, I will leave a comment asking you five questions. Take them to your journal and answer them there. Anyone who responds to your entry can be asked five questions by you - including me!
1. How did you first get into Yaoi and what kind of fic yaoi or otherwise really turns you on?
I have Gundam Wing fanfiiction to thank for that. I don't exactly remember the first fics I read when I came into the fandom but I wasn't looking for relationship centered fics, I was mostly looking for angst, and boy did I found that! I always liked the friendship between the pilots and while reading I had no problem when that friendship became a romantic relationship. From then on I was hooked.
I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort fiction. I guess that's why I whump Quatre so much. I like to see him pull through and be strong ^^;; Now, if you are asking about kinks and enjoyable smut... I have a thing for bondage and dom/sub stories. Smut has to have some kind of kink for me to find it enjoyable to read.
2. How has your writing shaped who you are?
Writing is so embedded in my life that it filters to almost anything I do. I've always liked to live more in stories than I do in the real world and writing and reading gives me that escape. I kind of write now for work but it's not fiction. However, the tools writing fiction has given me helps me in that respect. In a weird sense I think I'm more what I write and what I read that what I do. I certainly have a connection with that and it affects me in ways the real world almost never does. I'm not sure if I'm making sense, probably not but for me writing is everywhere, no matter what.
3. Is there any anime out there that just seems too perfect to even write for?
I'm not sure... I wouldn't try to write for Evangelion, for example. What makes me write fanfiction is usually the deep emotions I see in a story and opportunity to develop them. I can't think of an anime that I wouldn't want to ruin with writing right now but I know that there are some I don't feel prepared to write for. I can think of a book, though, too perfect to write for: Stephen King's It. Yeah, the one with the evil clown ^.^
4. Outside of online life, what are your hobbies?
I love driving. I sing anytime and anywhere I am. I love the movies. I have a thing for South Park that it's quickly translating into fanfiction too. And I love to read!
5. Why do you write 1x4?
I often say that Heero and Quatre are two sides of the same coin. Like you said, Caer, in watching the anime there is definitely a connection there, they have a special bond weather you want to interpret it as romantic or not. The interactions between them are always so interesting. I think Heero allows Quatre to see the best in him just like Quatre allows Heero to see the worst. They fit, you know? I love all the Gundam boys, Quatre the most, but I have a big soft spot for Heero so it's also wonderful to put them together. It is definitely one of my favorite pairings, some days even my favorite ^.^
