The Utter Insanity of HWY 215
You do not have any idea how much it pisses me off that they do not have some rule for construction trucks on the 215. I wouldn't mind it much except there is only 2 lanes, and they all insist on driving in the left lane. This would be fine if they were going the speed limit, but I'm sorry, if you're going 55 or under on a 65 mph road, you need to move into the right lane.
Fast vehicles-->left lane slow moving vehicles--> right lane
WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR SOME PEOPLE???? Argh!!!:)
Plus it prevents accidents, which to those of us who live in Las Vegas knows, anything to make the roads safer than the magical bumper ride they already are.
It's basically because construction companies have such a damn grip on the economy that they are allowed to do anything they please. I know some states/counties/cities have specific rules regarding trucks and large vehicles. I've seen it in New York.
