(no subject)
My life's been pretty uneventful lately, but it's nice to be able to stop and say "Wow, that was a really good weekend."
The fact that it's not even over yet makes it even better.
Friday was uneventful, work drains me so much that I try to avoid making plans for the evening, because my heart just isn't into it. I caught up on sleep.
George (aardammit) came up for Rugby, with Reuben (armyofone) in tow. :)
Saturday, we woke up early and did a little sightseeing (well, early for me, I think I was out of the house by 10... for a weekend, that's pretty good for me. heh). The weather was pretty crappy, so we had to limit ourselves to a quick drive-by tour of Vancouver, staying inside the car for most of it...
(*watching Jerry Maguire, and wipes her eye after the You had me at hello scene. *sniff*)
Then we made the trek out to Abbotsford to watch George's rugby game :D He looks pretty adorable sweaty and drenched from the rain. heh. So we stayed there for a couple hours, then made our way home and ordered some Chinese food.
This morning, we got up and took Reuben downtown to experience the joy that is Robson Street, then to All-You-Can-Eat Sushi before he left :)
He left this afternoon. The funny thing? I've only known him for 2 days now... but already I wish he was back here. :P Why can't there be people like that up here? *hrmph* :D
