Icon Meme!
From mizz_destiny: Comment with whatever you want, like the word "ICONS!" or something and I'll choose six of your icons and then you'll post this with some explanation of the icons I chose.
For one one beautiful moment when the new Star Wars movie was announced the rumor went around that Episode VII was going to cover the Thrawn trilogy. Obviously it was never going to happen - the story takes place a few years after Jedi and the actors are all too old to play the parts - but man, how awesome would that be? Thrawn (and Pellaeon, because there can't be Holmes without Watson) are my favorite parts of the EU and even if the rest of the universe doesn't always stack up I always, always recommend those books to anyone with even a passing interest in Star Wars.
I fell out of love with the later seasons of Smallville but I always loved how they did J'onn (and watched amused as DC quietly retconned the SV version into the comics.)

As an episode "Hammer of the Gods" had its issues but I loved Kali. Looooooved her, loved the thing with Gabriel, that whole little self-contained arc. I was actually looking for a Kali icon when I found this and loved the composition, the cropping of it, way you can only see her hand against his neck. Sexy as hell.
Jaime! Love that kid, at least before DCnu got their terrible failhooks into him.

I miss my show. And this is exactly what watching it felt like.:)

DANY! Dany with her dragon! As much as I love most the the ASOIAF cast, esp the Starks and their bad decision making, if at the end of the series Dany flies in as the draconic version of rocks fall, everyone dies I don't think I'll be that upset.
