I know Hiro's real power.

Forget all that nonsense about time and space. Hiro's real power is to make everyone around him adorable. Time and space just bends in response.

1) Bwahahaha, Candice! I have no sympathy for you (assuming you're actually dead and not just further messing with Sylar). I hope Sylar didn't actually manage to grab her power, though, because while Candice was petty and cruel, Sylar's actually smart. Unless it's Peter or Matt, who'd be able to hear Sylar's thoughts, he'd be pretty much unstoppable.

2) Running with the assumption that the desert island is not an illusion, the Lost crossover pretty much writes itself, doesn't it?

3) I admit it: obvious as it was in retrospect, I gasped aloud when West showed the trackers on his neck. This is either horrible karma for Bennet or a very, very clever trap. If West is a company plant, they couldn't have picked a better one.

4) Maya and Alejandro continue to remind me very strongly of Simon and River. I also liked Random American Guy tagging along.

5) Poor Peter. I can't fault him for wanting to taking a holiday from his horrible life, especially now that he's found a new family who actually loves him in a reasonably non-dysfunctional way.

6) Hee. Mohinder and Parkman. There's only room for one bedroom (not counting where Molly sleeps) in that apartment, is all I'm saying.

7) Oh, Bennet. Fortunately, we know it's not true that all of Issac's paintings come true, unless New York was reduced to rock and cinder when I wasn't looking. Obviously I don't want him to die (he's clearly the show's Batman), but still, what's the expression? You reap what you sow?

8) I'm dying to know who's giving out the Company marching orders now that Thompson and Linderman are really most sincerely dead.

9) Micah the technopath being related to the Enterprise's Communications Officer is inspired. And awesome. Switching gears, could Niki please make one good decision? Just one?

10) "You're like my conscience! Except I heed you!" I think I love Kensei. Honestly, the subtext on this show is approaching Season 1 Smallville levels.

I am now making an Official Prediction: We all remember the stories about Kensei and the dragon, right? How the dragon made Kensei a sword saint, and later came to claim the princess as a reward, only to have Kensei cut out his heart and offer him that instead?

Hiro's the dragon. I've said that Hiro's creating his own supervillain, and I think it'll be much easier for Kensei to cut out his heart (literally and/or metaphorically) after Hiro (almost certainly unintentionally) breaks it into pieces. Hiro's playing Cyrano; if he'd read the play he'd know that doesn't end well for anyone. Kensei genuinely falling in love with Yaeko, it seems, but she loves Hiro. Eventually she's going to realize it.

I'm also predicting, since we now know that the eight paintings aren't all the Originals, Kensei is one of them. He could well be immortal as well as invulnerable, and it would make sense that Kaito was "waiting for a Nakamura to ascend" if his old friend from his superhero days had told him that someday one would.

i love this show, heroes
