HOW AWESOME WAS COLE TONIGHT?!
This Mia Michaels theme was pretty much a disaster - mostly it just reminded me how good Twitch and Neil were, even though I liked what Cyrus did - but Cole was the only one who absolutely knocked it out of the park. Kupono danced addiction as violent and seductive but Cole just played the part like an unscaleable wall. I loved how he didn't even look at his partner, an impersonal monster storming through her life that can't be reasoned with. I had no idea Cole had this dance in him. He's easily my favorite on the show now.
Which of course means he'll be off next week. I'm sorry, Cole!

On the subject of things that make me unreasonably happy, I know it makes me that kind of Yankees fan but few things fill me with more joyful schadenfreude than the Red Sox imploding. Bobby V coaching this team is everything I could have hoped for.
