Well, better late than never, Bennet

I'll make this in list format, because otherwise my Heroes thoughts tend to be of the rambling and flailing variety.

1) Well, it's seven years too late, but it's nice to see that Bennet's finally learned how to take care of his partners when they're in trouble. The look on the Haitian's face at the very end was wonderful; those two are a team now, something I don't think they ever could have been with the Company. The Mohinder/Bennet team-up continues to be a happy place, and I especially like how Mohinder's learned how to take advantage of everyone treating him like he has a double-digit IQ. The man feigns clueless very, very well.

2) Every time Midas opens his mouth I'm reminded of how much I despised his character on Deadwood. Now I suppose that's the reaction they're hoping for, but wow, do I want him to die.

3) Speaking of wow: the Wonder Twins. Wow. I figured that Alejandro would cancel out Maya's power, but I didn't expect him to be able to reverse it. The kid can actually raise the dead, even if it's only limited (at the moment) to Maya's dead. That's one hell of a power.

4) Mama Petrelli being menaced was ridiculously satisfying. Of more importance, though, was that the attempted execution was an entirely different method that what did in Kaito, which makes me wonder why. You would think that whoever did that to Angela could just as easily have done that to Kaito, unless Ando being there made some kind of difference. It felt very high-level telepath to me, which is also what I keep reading Worse than the Boogeyman (WTTB) as. Also, last week's relevation that there are nine surviving originals and this week's that there's a series of eight death paintings strike me as very interesting.

5) As much as I'm enjoying Peter's Irish Adventures (all those brogues!), I will be very upset if he doesn't eventually recover his memories. I do not want him to forget Claire and Claude and Nathan freaking finally coming through for him. I do take some solace in the fact that producers who would have Peter be half-naked and wet for most of the episode clearly love me and want me to be happy.:)

6) Please, Nathan. Shave. And stop greasing your hair back. You look scruffier than the character who was actually homeless.

7) Oh, Claire. Oh, honey. Don't ever, ever do that again. And make sure to whap Super Voyeur extra hard for me.

8) Mr. Muggles? Made of awesome. And fluff. You know he was really thinking, "Ha, suckers!" watching the dog show.

9) Running with the assumption that Kensei really does heal (as opposed to Hiro unintentionally rewinding time to save his hero), I predict that he and Claire have some things in common besides hair color. Things like strands of DNA.

10) Thank you very much, show. Now I have to imagine Claude contracting the plague and having his powers shut off. And with Peter amnesiac and in Ireland and Bennet in hiding, he wouldn't have anyone to call for help. Because that's exactly what I need in my sad fangirl life.

i love this show, heroes
