I'm crying so hard right now you have no idea. Your fics are starting to become one of my favourite angst-sources ever (I don't remember if I ever commented on your Avengers fics, but they rank pretty high in the list as well. Coulson feeeeeels and all. I just love how lucky I am that the best writers always write about my favourite characters and fandoms). Your Dean-voice here was nothing short of perfect. It was our beloved, messed up hunter through and through. When Castiel died... it wasn't so much that he was dead (hell, we should all be used to it by now, shouldn't we? Except I'm not, and I'm going to have to drown my sorrows in a ton of nutella all over again, but that's beside the point), it was his fear that made it all so painful.

I've been reading all the dystopia fics and thought I'd inured myself to them, but this? Sigh, this is what I get for reading without checking the author first, lol.

I loved Castiel's fight with Uriel and how he couldn't defend himself because he simply didn't believe Uriel would really hurt him. Cas' last moments were perfect and I almost didn't believe he would really die...

It was such a Dean thing to do to give Sam the words he didn't think to give Cas regardless of the fact that he didn't forgive his brother.

Oh, *Dean*. His inability to live without people sends him down some terrible paths. *g*

Cas dying unshriven by Dean, becoming a ghost because of it--*fantastic*. Nifty, nifty story.
