I can't live up to my new underwear. It's the cinnamon roll of underwear.
C had an unclaimed credit and discount at Harrods, accrued after stuff he bought while over there last year. He couldn't find anything on which to use it, and he won't be back that way until maybe the fall. He asked me to see if I could find anything I'd want on their website.
Most of the stuff available, and for use with the code, was way more than we could spend on anything, with or without a discount. I finally found where they had a deal going with Agent Provocateur for underwear sets.
I can't remember the last time I had a matching set of underwear. If I had one at all, it's been probably at least 25 years? With the exception of my wedding, when they sort of, kind of, matched? Most of the AP stuff via Harrods was clearly not stuff you would actually wear as like, functional underwear. I found this set which was relatively less expensive, and reasonable with the discount code. The pictures were okay, it looked cute, but you couldn't see it real clearly.
So it came in today, and it is SOFA-KING adorable. I feel like I can't live up to this underwear. It is so overly precious, it's kind of incredible. It makes me want to clean the entire house and eat better. I don't know. And actually fairly normal in terms of wearability.
And as double floof for a Tuesday... This is our old Disney Duffy Bear, with his new friend Stella Lou. Stella was just introduced last month at Tokyo DisneySeas. Total happenstance, myself and a friend were gushing over her on FB, and another friend oversaw our conversation. He was just getting ready to leave for Japan, with plans to visit Tokyo Disney. He offered to pick us each up a Stella Lou if they had them. My Stella arrived here last week. The collective squeal from myself and all three kids when we pulled her out of the box was pretty epic.
We got the Duffy in 2011 at WDW, my mom got one for herself as well. I gave her a stuffty of Duffy's girlfriend "Shellie May" for Christmas a few years ago. Apparently now Shellie May is available at the US parks, but Duffy's cat friend Gelatoni, and now Stella Lou, are not. There's a seagull as well, called Tippy Blue. They haven't made a big size plushie of him, just beanie baby sized ones.
