Sing a sad song just to turn it around...
Today was definitely "one of those days." Got up at 6:30, took my Business Law final at 8...yeah, THAT was pretty early for me...but I think I did well. Tried to get to Dothan... I got this awesome job offer yesterday from a lady at Personnel Resources in Dothan. She has a job in mind for me to work as a CSR for a company in Enterprise, taking calls from customers in English and Spanish. It's a full-time job with VERY GOOD pay. Hopefully I'll get it!!...axle slipped, transmission fluid spilled everywhere...mechanic fixed it up nice and neat for $32!! Lunch with the girls at O'Charleys...soup, salad, and rolls. Fabulous! Work was bad...made a little cash, but work was bad. I really don't care for my job as a waitress. I think I personally am getting a little old for the food business. I've been in it for 6 years, and I think it's time to move on. Hopefully I'll land this other job. Anyways, this week has been not so good...and I'm glad it's over. The weekend is here, so I'm just gonna chill.
I've been doing lots of thinking lately. I said Monday that everything happens for a reason, and I firmly believe that. I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I hold NO offices this fall, and I'm going to re-focus my studies. I'm taking almost all general studies classes, getting all but 3 of them out of the way, only because they're not offered this fall. I'm gonna let my shoulders re-heal (conducting is NOT good for them...), and I'm just going to enjoy life. I hope to be done with my current degree in about 3 or four semesters...with summer classes, and with this new job I'll be able to afford all of that PLUS car insurance. Yeah...it's expired right now. Oh well. That's all for now...finally a REAL update...
