[ Emma...Woodhouse. He pauses as he registers all the names together-- first Sherlock Holmes, and now--
Good grief on him, he was talking to yet another figure from literature, wasn't he? His eyes widen in surprise, mild fascination in his expression-- but he catches himself immediately as he nods to the young waiter attending to those seeking sanctuary here, and settles back in his seat. ]
A pleasure, Miss Woodhouse. [ Best to not shock her too much just yet. ] You have a communicator on you, do you not? Please keep it safely, as it will provide you with all the information you need here. The world around you is a strange one, and it would be for your own good that you listen to everything I tell you very carefully.
I apologize ahead of time, but you must prepare yourself for the chance of not being able to return to your own home very soon.
[ And he'll explain just about everything he can, as thoroughly and gently as possible, though he'll kind of slip in the whole fictional characters being real thing later. He doesn't want to shock her too badly. :3 ]

But what of my father? He will worry so, and he is not well. He can ill afford to be worried. I must return to him!
