The letters on this device are arranged most peculiarly, but I shall be the master of them yet! It is a most ingenius thing; I rather wish I could bring it home with me. But no matter.

Mr. Edgeworth, might I have a moment of your time? There is a matter of peculiar delicacy I wish your advice on.

rofl-you know, if Emma keeps talking to him he'll develop a...horrible...crush on her horrible_phd December 22 2008, 03:47:38 UTC
It's good to see you settling in Em Miss Woodhouse. You might not be used to typing, but at least you've figured out the shift key unlike some others here...

I fancy myself a quick study. And thank you, Dr. Horrible, for your concern. You are quite the gentleman.

Tell me, are you attending tomorrow's ball?

he will stalk you very passively and make vague allusions to you in his journal horrible_phd December 22 2008, 03:59:20 UTC
I don't think so. I mean, it's not really my kind of thing, and I don't know that many people here, and no one I've talked to is going that I know of, except you, of course.

awww dr. horrible why so creepy adorable? mis_match December 22 2008, 04:07:23 UTC
Not your kind of thing? Nonsense! Balls are entirely comprised of food, dancing, and conversation, and I have yet to meet anyone who does not enjoy at least one of those things. Besides, what better way is there to meet new people? You simply must come!

and she can be all, "You like someone? I will find her and make you declare your love in person!" horrible_phd December 22 2008, 04:17:21 UTC
Well, I don't actually know how to dance...but I suppose I could at least go for a little while. Since you'll be there's going to be food, at least.

In that case we can stumble across the dance floor together and wreck a great deal of havoc. I fancy myself a rather accomplished dancer, but I highly doubt they will play any of the dances I know.

I wonder if my dear friend Rain knows any of the City dances. Perhaps she could give us a quick lesson before the ball so that we do not entirely make fools of ourselves.

Who's Rain? Has she been here a long time?

But I don't think I'll dance anyway.

She is...I hope I am doing this correctly -- livingmyths. I do believe she has been here quite a bit longer than us. She is a dear, dear girl I have met recently.

Then you leave me to look foolish alone! I see how it is.

Yes, you did that right. Oh, her. I've seen her blog, but never talked to her.

I'm sure there are plenty of people here who would love to dance with you.

Let us hope they feel the same after they see me dance!
