heh. We've been watching all the world cup games in my classes at school and almost everyone was rooting against the U.S.. I agree, if the american public actually cared about soccer and was proud about it, then I would want us to win. Right now I just take the opportunity to root for countries that are passionate.
P.S. The world cup has been unbearable for me...I miss soccer so much.

me too. i dont even actually play sports seriously and i miss soccer. i tried kicking a ball around a bit yesterday and i ended up having to play goalie, cause apparently my foot will never heal. its been like a month and i'm still in pain... something's wrong.

oh. please don't talk to me about playing goalie. 5 years of my life were devoted to playing goalie in competitive soccer leagues. I miss destroying my body in the name of getting a ball so much.

everyone´s making fun of me that the us sucks. even though peru doesn´t even have a team in the world cup. and even though we tied with italy, they say we would´ve lost if it was for italy´s self goal.
