...last night was soooooooo fun.
anyways, so. waiting is over.
when I first heard the cd, last night, I listened to it straight through and I hated it. I thought it was really generic and overproduced.
now, though, I've listened to it a little more and it's starting to grow on me. It has a lot of facets that I didn't really notice at 1:00 last night. ehm, this morning. I think soon I'll be able to really appreciate it. Right now my favorite tracks are Love Like Winter, Affliction, and The Missing Frame.
however, however painful it is for me to admit it, there are a couple of Fallout Boy moments (The Killing Lights) that are pretty much breaking my heart. haha, I guess the worst part about DU is that now, when people me that AFI is a pop band and I shove Answer That and Stay Fashionable in their faces, they'll have something to shove back in mine.
but its ok. it's starting to grow on me.
